Responsibility
- undertake detailed inspection of hire equipment so that commercial assessment, likely repair, replacement and refurbishment work can be made
- produce a comprehensive list of parts and materials proposed for the equipment’s repair
- carry out standard diagnostic tests to evaluate more accurate and cost-effective repairs
- undertake major repairs, overhauls and refurbishments with complete commercial consideration
- support your line manager in the day-to-day operations of the company
- complete all associated job cards, inspection, service sheets neatly and accurately and submit to main office in timely manner
- liaise with and respond to workshop management ensuring urgent maintenance tasks are responded to within appropriate timescales
- ensure good housekeeping and working practices are employed and ensure you always represent the company in a professional manner
