leeds Galvanising & Powder Coating Ltd was founded over 15 years ago
we utilise the latest materials handling system and technology to ensure the highest quality and efficient processing results
monitor and manage health and safety and transport compliance at the site, working closely with the Yard Team Leader
arrange and monitor MOT's, servicing or repairs of vehicles with our service providers
coordinate with the Operations Director and Yard Team Leader to understand delivery requirements and schedule transport accordingly
assisting with planning & reviewing delivery routes to maximise vehicle utilisation, driver usage and fuel efficiency
we have grown from one of the smallest galvanisers in the country to the largest galvanising and powder coating plant in the North of England
monitor and manage drivers with regard to EC driving hours and regulations and compliance

Requirements

CPC Transport Manager Qualification essential
customer focused, results driven and proactive
wider knowledge of health and safety legislation
computer literate, with strong IT skills
driven to make changes where required and develop practices and procedures in line with transport legislation
strong attention to detail
good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively with a team
strong organisational and leadership skills
