Responsibility
the Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the charity so that its aims and objectives are met
an exciting opportunity that would suit an entrepreneurial person who is passionate about supporting disadvantaged young people and keen to make their mark in their local area
A varied and challenging role, there is lots of scope for you to make it your own and you will be well supported by a passionate and committed board of trustees
there's ample room for you to be creative and involved in designing, developing and raising funds for service offerings
you will provide professional leadership and be accountable for all aspects of the charity's management and administration, operating within frameworks laid down by its trustees
as the face of a young and small charity that's looking to rapidly grow and scale, you will work collaboratively with the trustees and the charity's partner organisations - West Lea School, the Enterprise Cooperative Trust , the London Historic Building Trust and others - on a variety of innovative and rewarding enterprise projects and services
established in 2014, LFLC was formed through a unique partnership between West Lea School and the local community with a shared vision of empowering children and young people with learning difficulties and special educational needs or those who have been affected by illness, disability or poverty
through social enterprise projects and services, LFLC provides children and young people from across the borough with opportunities to work, make friends, explore, learn and make a difference in their local area
