Requirements
- hold a recognised training/qualification associated with premises management
- competent at basic building repairs and maintenance
- experience of working in a school environment
- good organisational and time management skills, and ability to prioritise workflow whilst maintaining a flexible approach to respond to urgent requests
- an understanding of safeguarding in relation to an education setting
- computer literate
- experience of managing CoSHH
- understanding of and ability to apply regulations such as Health & Safety, manual handling
Responsibility
- as one of the main key holders, be responsible for the security of school premises
- to maintain constant awareness of the physical condition of the buildings, furniture and equipment and ensure timely maintenance and repairs
- ensure all Health & Safety legislation is complied with
- ensure appropriate levels of heat and light throughout the buildings on site

- plan daily work to ensure all work is carried out in an efficient manner
- hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
