Responsibility
- identify manufacturing needs for new products in development
- provide multi-disciplined breakdown support for production equipment, services and all electro/mechanical issues
- assist with design of new systems and processes to ensure the cost-effective integration of those & existing ones into manufacturing processes
- work closely with Production Engineers on improvements, new product introduction and corrective actions with an emphasis on ‘right first time’ solutions
- ensure all product and system requirements are considered from the initial process conception to the finished result
- assist with shop floor layout & cell designs
- accurate maintaining of all associated records
- review fixtures and tooling designs for machining and assembly operations
