Responsibility

  • loading and unloading inventory and supplies from delivery vehicles
  • delivering plumbing materials to various job sites throughout the local area
  • maintaining accurate records of each delivery
  • providing exceptional customer service when delivering goods
  • ensuring the safety and security of the load during transportation
  • leagrave Heating Supplies is a well established local independent plumbers merchant with branches in Luton and Bedford. We are a busy and dynamic company and offer great progression opportunities
  • inspecting vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working order
  • as a Delivery Driver for our Plumbers Merchant, you'll not only be playing a vital role in our business, but you'll also be our customer-facing representative, providing a great level of service to all of our customers

Requirements

  • A clean and valid driver's license
  • at least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • the ability to drive a van safely and efficiently
  • A good knowledge of the local area
  • ability to regularly lift and move heavy materials
  • familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance
  • delivery driver experience: 1 year
