Responsibility
- to handle sales, wedding, conference, meeting, event and private party enquires received by the two hotels and convert them into bookings
- to promote both hotels to the local community
- to liaise with wedding and event suppliers and negotiate the best arrangements for our functions at the hotels
- to compile the function planners for all meetings, weddings and private functions
- to prepare a weekly report including a weekly summary function summary and details of future event bookings
- perform any other responsibilities or task assigned by the Group General Manager and the General Manager of both hotels
- to attend Wedding Shows and other suitable shows to promote the Holiday Inn Dover and the Best Western Clifton Hotel in Folkestone at major venues in East Kent
- to liaise with all departments within the hotels to ensure that arrangements are in place for all functions and events. This will involve be in attendance for the weddings and major functions and events
