  • management accountant

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • preparation of periodic management accounts to agreed timescales, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance commentary
  • consolidation and analysis of divisional plans and forecasts on behalf of Group
  • preparation and qualitative interpretation of Group and Divisional performance reporting
  • work closely with the management team to develop the annual operating budgets, forecasts and the periodical reforecasts
  • assist in the preparation of periodic individual and consolidated financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, cashflows and commentaries
  • assisting in preparation of financial forecasts
  • preparation of support schedules and back up to the management accounts
  • assisting in the preparation of commentary and variance analysis for Board reporting

Requirements

  • recognised accounting qualification with 1-3 years PQE
  • highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • experience of working in a similar role, with desire to progress and develop
  • this role does not include the option to work remotely
