Responsibility
- overall management and coordination of licenced and NNLW asbestos removal projects
- maintain and develop new client relationships
- generate new tender opportunities
- assessment of tenders
- estimating and preparation of quotations
- submission of ASB5s
- production of Plans of Works, Safe Operating Procedures, RAMS
- supporting Site Supervisors for the safe and effective running of asbestos projects
Requirements
- knowledge and experience within the Asbestos and or Demolition industry with previous Asbestos Management experience required
- asbestos Contract Manager qualification
- positive H&S Culture
- ambitious and results driven
- strong commercial acumen
- IOSH and or NEBOSH H&S Qualifiactions beneficial
- the right candidate will positively influence a strong health and safety culture working closely with both asbestos and interacting wtih demolition teams, to ensure all asbestos works are completed in line with regulations and company policies
- full Driving Licence
Contract type
- you will ensure all sites meet the required standards of licensed asbestos works and comply with current legislation
- this role will offer an opportunity for candidates to work both hands-on with projects and in a strategic capacity
- working for an established Asbestos Removal and Demolition Contractor based in the South West we are seeking an Asbestos Contracts Manager to oversee the safe and efficient running of projects
- as Asbestos Contracts Manager you will support the team providing competent advice and ensuring all works are carried out within the terms of the HSE licensing regime
