- prepare and submit Energy Performance Certificates
- undertake energy inspections and issue Energy Statements
- liaise directly with external consultants e.g. structural and civil/mechanical engineers to obtain specific technical details to include within drawings/calculations
- attend on-site meetings and manage queries as required
- undertake energy inspections
Requirements
- able to offer advice and consult effectively with clients regarding construction, HVAC and renewables
- thorough understanding of the Part L regulations and wider policy landscape
- experience of delivering planning-stage energy statements and reports desirable
- keen eye for detail
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- advanced knowledge of detailed technical design and construction methods
- technical: understanding of UK building regulations Part L, LABC, NHBC and associated construction guidance and third-party warranty requirements
- project management: the ability to work on simultaneous projects with a quick turnaround of thorough, detailed, accurate output
