Responsibility
- seek out the appropriate contact in a company and overcome ‘gate keepers’
- generate prospective leads
- meet with customers face to face where possible / appropriate or over the phone
- maintain required CRM systems / follow internal processes
- communicate internally within the team and line manager to support / hand over some lead generation out of your geographical area
- research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships -or new ways of reaching existing markets
- understand sticking points for customers and report this information in team meetings
- foster and develop relationships with customers with an aim to hand them over to the accountholder within the Internal Sales team once the relationship is established
Requirements
- A proven track record in Sales
- proven B2B sales / business development success
- full clean driving licence
- field Based geographically around or in Birmingham to cover the Midlands
- to have the desire to work autonomously and independently whilst belonging to a wider remote team located throughout the UK
