technical support engineer
Requirements
- the role would suit candidates with software tester/project analyst skills who are seeking to embark in a new direction
- knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Angular, either gained commercially or from personal / academic projects
- knowledge of Java, JavaScript and Angular
- understanding of debugging and stack trace reports
- ability to quickly understand and debug stack trace reports in other team’s code
- understanding of SQL
- understanding of SQL and how to optimally query and datafix large datasets
- use of Slack or similar messaging platform
Responsibility
- conducting technical investigations into reported incidents

- developing integrations between support tools to proactively monitor and assist analysts
- identifying critical areas within applications and proposing solutions and enhancements

- collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution of reported bugs
- managing sign-off procedures for accepting development projects into support
- establishing and maintaining integrations between toolsets and internal applications, including automating user access control
