  • job Summary
  • the purpose of the programme is to promote independence, build confidence and learn/develop skills in a fun and supported setting
  • key tasks
  • the Social Care Programming Coordinator will support the delivery of a comprehensive programme of events, informal education and activities for our Members in the wider community
  • the Social Care Programming Coordinator will work with the Head of Programming, Members, volunteers, sessional facilitators, and key stakeholders to develop a creative programme of educational, cultural and social activities for young Jewish adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • operational Tasks
  • to support volunteers and external delivery partners at sessions/activities
  • the programme developed by the Community Activity Coordinator will play a significant role in energising members to be active participants in the community by organising activities, events and planning future holidays with individuals and groups

Requirements

  • to monitor impact and evaluate all activities
  • to co-ordinate and deliver parts of the programme
  • to ensure a broad range of meaningful educational, cultural and recreation activities and courses
  • to involve, introduce and interact with the local Jewish and non-Jewish community
  • to ensure Jewish ethos and cultural awareness is embedded within the programme
  • to promote the programme, via support staff, Members and parents ensuring that members can participate and are aware each day of what is available for them
