restaurant manager
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- report to the Operations Manager
- to deputise in the absence of the Operations Manager
- run shifts to the highest level, in line with restaurant procedures
- supervision and training of restaurant team while providing support and guidance
- play an active role in exceeding guest’s expectations
- to ensure the quality of dish presentation is consistent and communicate any variance directly with Operations Manager
- to support kitchen team when required
- to take control and improve the restaurants social media specifically Facebook and Instagram
Requirements
- be a team player
- have minimum of two years managerial experience in hospitality of being an Assistant Manager or higher
- be professional with a keen eye for detail and great focus
- have a strong passion for high quality food and beverages
- great communicator with a dynamic and charismatic approach
- warm, friendly personality with a flair for recognising and exceeding guest expectations
- flexibility to cover as required – normally 48 hours per week over 5 days
- flexibility to cover as required – normally 40 hours per week over 5 days
