Responsibility
- greet customers and take their orders
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
- ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and standards
- handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
Requirements
- previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required
- knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling
- time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- barista experience: 1 year
- basic math: Proficiency in basic arithmetic calculations for cash handling
- helpfulness: Willingness to assist customers and provide exceptional service
- food preparation: Knowledge of food safety guidelines and ability to follow recipes accurately
