Requirements
bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field
proven experience in fleet management or a similar role
strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
familiarity with fleet management software systems
excellent organizational and time management skills
strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Responsibility
working closely with Procurement for the validation of off hire charges or repair costs
manage our company vehicle management system, reviewing vehicle checks, new defect reports and recording maintenance and repair costings within the system
manage a team of drivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
ensuring all vehicles are insured, taxed and with an in-date MOT
liaise with drivers / operatives regarding compliance updates
coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, including scheduling regular service appointments and managing emergency repairs
monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency
managing vehicle services, Mots, repairs and maintenance
