Responsibility
- working closely with Procurement for the validation of off hire charges or repair costs
- manage our company vehicle management system, reviewing vehicle checks, new defect reports and recording maintenance and repair costings within the system
- manage a team of drivers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- ensuring all vehicles are insured, taxed and with an in-date MOT
- liaise with drivers / operatives regarding compliance updates
- coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, including scheduling regular service appointments and managing emergency repairs
- monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency
- managing vehicle services, Mots, repairs and maintenance
