  • develop an understanding of our clients’ businesses and communications objectives
  • develop knowledge of key print and online publications – including editorial style, agenda, content, and key journalists
  • keep abreast of national/broadsheet newspapers/websites and trade publications
  • build relationships with journalists across a range of publications
  • learn media sell-in techniques
  • source and secure client features
  • create and edit press releases, comments and other written content – with support from the content and PR teams
  • deliver accurate and well-presented work in a timely manner
