Responsibility
- perform repairs and improvements on mobile catering kitchens, ensuring they are in excellent working condition
- conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and address any issues promptly
- carry out woodwork tasks such as cabinetry repairs, countertop replacements, and installation of new fixtures
- conduct painting tasks to maintain a fresh and appealing appearance of the kitchens and office
- perform drilling, sawing, and other tasks necessary for the maintenance and improvement of the kitchens and office
- collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules
- maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance tasks
- adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while working on-site
Requirements
- proficient in using a wide range of tools and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance
- strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address issues promptly
- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor as required
- strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- proven experience as a handy person or in a similar role, preferably with experience in woodwork, painting, drilling, sawing, and general maintenance tasks
