Responsibility
- key Responsibilities
- achieve BRC accreditation within a six month period
- take the lead with any BRC or external audit
- ensure supplier specifications, nominated line forms, technical information and specifications are available and updated on relevant customer databases
- working closely with microbiology department to monitor results and aid in implementation of policies
- manage nutritional information and nutrition queries, make sure they are in line with legislation
- provide legal information for food labelling ensuring that all packaging meets required labelling regulations
- lead the development of the internal systems to meet third party requirements in line with the BRC Global Food Standard
Requirements
- experience of working in the food industry, ideally within frozen food sector
- strong strategic leadership skills, including strong communication, engagement and motivation skills to drive continuous improvement
- extensive practical experience in leading a team with a BRCGS audit
- extensive practical experience with HACCP
- understanding of Good Hygiene working practices
- supervising experience: 1 year
- restaurant management: 1 year
- bar management: 1 year
