Responsibility
- oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- drive the implementation of warehouse transformation and digitalisation initiatives to optimise operations and improve productivity
- analyse opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and technology integration within the warehouse operations
- operate a forklift truck to unload/load containers, handle deliveries, and move pallets
- lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive transformational projects, ensuring timely completion and successful implementation
- drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence within the warehouse
- stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse operations and logistics
- collaborate with the team to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
- previous experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in a small to mid-sized business environment
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and make data-driven decisions
- in-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics processes
- experience leading and implementing warehouse management systems or other relevant technologies
- excellent project management and change management skills, with a track record of successfully leading transformational initiatives
- strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences
