Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in print production, with experience in digital printing preferred
- strong technical skills and ability to operate and troubleshoot printing equipment
- knowledge of printing procedures, and finishing processes
- ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills
- strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed
Responsibility
- operate and maintain digital printing equipment and finishing equipment
- ensure that all printed materials meet customer specifications, including colour, resolution, and size
- monitor and troubleshoot printing equipment to ensure quality output and minimise downtime
- assist with pre-flight checks to ensure successful printing
- communicate with our internal IT staff, publishers, and customer service representatives to ensure timely delivery of print orders
- maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols and procedures
- perform routine maintenance and repairs on printing equipment as needed or liaise with the manufacturers’ support staff
- stay current with industry trends and advancements in printing technology
