Responsibility
- supervise and support the team in delivering high-quality care to our Children and Young people
- develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with our Children and Young People
- drive initiatives that promote a positive living environment for all Children and Young people
- communicate effectively with Children and Young people,their families, and external professionals to ensure continuity of care
- ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies within the care home
- provide training and mentorship to new staff members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- assist in managing day-to-day operations
Requirements
- proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a care home or similar setting
- strong understanding of senior care practices and the ability to develop effective care plans
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups
- IT proficiency to manage documentation and communicate efficiently within the team
- A compassionate approach towards Children and Young people and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life
- ability to drive initiatives that improve resident satisfaction and team performance
- relevant qualifications neededLevel 3 QCF Diploma in residential Childcare
- full driving licence preferred
