Responsibility
- leading and creating initial FF&E concept designs, having fully understood the project brief and obtained all relevant information
- specifying FF&E on all projects and creating FF&E schedules with accurate costs
- co-ordinating specification with the drawing packages
- procuring all FF&E and taking responsibility for purchase orders, specification sheets and control books
- creating physical and digital moodboards using Indesign
- attending meetings and presenting FF&E concepts to clients
- taking client lead where required
- ensuring regular and open communication with internal and external teams and suppliers
Requirements
- understanding of the financial aspects of running a design project, on time and on budget
- an Industry recognised diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
- experience in ‘Lighting’ as a design element – knowledge of how to use lighting and shadows for drama and impact
- proven experience working on both residential and hospitality focused projects
- experience using Estimac
- an extensive knowledge of, and relationships with the suppliers of contract furniture
- in depth knowledge of products, materials & suppliers
- general knowledge of interior architecture with the ability to read and understand technical drawings, including furniture shop drawings
