Responsibility
- keylink Ltd is a BRC AA accredited, specialist distributor of chocolate and related products based in Dinnington, South Yorkshire
- we have a fantastic opportunity for a First Line Manager to lead and direct a team of circa 17
- you will be part of the senior management team reporting directly to the General Manager
- the ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of operational efficiency and accuracy
- hold daily briefings with the Warehouse team leaders to allocate tasks and discuss workload
- interact closely with other departments within the business to ensure smooth operational effectiveness
- being accountable for the leadership and management of the warehouse team to organise and monitor the safe and accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of products
- full responsibility of the warehouse team including weekly rota and staffing levels to meet operational requirements
Requirements
- good communicator and influencer at various levels with a focus on exceptional performance
- effective time management, prioritising, and multi-tasking skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills ·
- an ability to think and lead strategically
- experienced in leading and managing a team, including coaching and training as required
- exceptional attention to detail
- A natural problem solver, able to find solutions outside of the status quo
