Responsibility
- kervan Gida, a leading confectionary company, is seeking an Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper to join their finance team
- the role will be based full time from our new Wimbledon office
- assist the Accounting team in managing the day-to-day financial operations, including recording financial transactions, updating general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements
Show more +10 - prepare and maintain financial records, such as invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers, accurately and in a timely manner
- process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable, including verifying and reconciling vendor invoices, customer payments, and credit notes
- assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and financial reports, as needed
- help monitor and manage inventory, including conducting periodic stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies
- maintain and organize financial documents and records in compliance with company policies and procedures
- the position will be responsible for providing support to the company's accounting and finance department by assisting with day-to-day financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- assist in payroll processing, including maintaining employee records, calculating hours worked, and preparing payroll reports
- assist with year-end financial audits and tax filings, as required
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, and operations, to ensure accurate financial information and smooth financial operations
- stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and company policies, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a confectionary or food manufacturing environment
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
