Responsibility
the ’s role involves facilitating the smooth integration of new product developments into existing or new infrastructure
they act as a liaison between manufacturing and the product development team, ensuring a seamless transition to volume production
responsibilities include optimising manufacturing processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and using various methods for efficient development-to-production handovers
key responsibilities also include improving engineering processes, defining production requirements, and supporting technical queries and investigations
collaborate with R&D Team to ensure final product designs are suitable for volume manufacture
performance is assessed through annual appraisals, and all employees have health and safety responsibilities
influence product design for improved DFA DFM and efficient labour utilisation
plan first production concepts using Production, Preparation, Process
Education
degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing
Requirements
effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to interpret data are essential
substantial and varied technical experience in manufacturing / process engineering
heating and refrigeration experience would be beneficial
effective management and resolution of complex technical issues
safety qualifications or experience in health and safety, and risk assessment capabilities are desired traits for this role
