Responsibility
- the ’s role involves facilitating the smooth integration of new product developments into existing or new infrastructure
- they act as a liaison between manufacturing and the product development team, ensuring a seamless transition to volume production
- responsibilities include optimising manufacturing processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and using various methods for efficient development-to-production handovers
- key responsibilities also include improving engineering processes, defining production requirements, and supporting technical queries and investigations
- collaborate with R&D Team to ensure final product designs are suitable for volume manufacture
- performance is assessed through annual appraisals, and all employees have health and safety responsibilities
- influence product design for improved DFA DFM and efficient labour utilisation
- plan first production concepts using Production, Preparation, Process
Education
- degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing
Requirements
- effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to interpret data are essential
- substantial and varied technical experience in manufacturing / process engineering
- heating and refrigeration experience would be beneficial
- effective management and resolution of complex technical issues
- safety qualifications or experience in health and safety, and risk assessment capabilities are desired traits for this role
