maintenance manager
Responsibility
- conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- perform general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing repairs, electrical work, painting, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance
- respond to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues in a timely and efficient manner, resolving issues to their satisfaction
- carry out routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and longevity
- assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, equipment, and storage areas
- collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations
- comply with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and guests
- maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role or in a maintenance-related field is preferred
- A good working knowledge of plumbing, & electrical works and with a basic knowledge of carpentry and HVAC systems
- ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects when required
- flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional service to guests and colleagues
