- possession of NPTC/NVQ Level 2 in horticulture or equivalent
- possession of a spraying certificate i.e. PA1, safe handling of pesticides, and PA6A, hand held applications
- experience in use of PDA systems
- good communication skills – written and verbal
- experience working in physical environment
- hold a qualification in Road Management/Traffic Control
