Requirements
- relevant Engineering qualifications/apprenticeship training or equivalent experience
- practical experience of mechanical and electrical equipment assembly, building panels/systems and machine maintenance
- knowledge and experience of working with mechanical and electrical manufacturing systems/processes, including fault-finding, diagnostics and maintenance skills
- experience of utilising hand tools, and power tools
- an FLT driving licence, welding qualification and other relevant production/maintenance qualifications and experience would also be a distinct advantage
- supervisory experience would also be an advantage, although not essential
- full and clean driving licence and valid passport , to allow to travel to customer sites, both domestically and worldwide
- mechanical and electrical equipment assembly, diagnostic: 4 years
Responsibility
- clean and maintain all hand/power tools, machinery and equipment used, to ensure optimum use
- report progress daily, notifying office-based colleagues in a timely manner of any issues which require tools/associated production materials, consumables etc. to be ordered so colleagues can ensure they are available for use when required
- perform works as assigned within designated timescale, efficiently, and to the required standard to ensure standards conform to KEA Automation and customer specifications
