Responsibility

  • we are looking to welcome a highly motivated bookkeeper to the company within our practice based in Llanfyllin
  • you will work as a key member within this accounts preparation team, focusing on bookkeeping and VAT preparation
  • you will liaise directly with business owners, and will work in our Llanfyllin office
  • we use software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Taxfiler and Tax Calc - experience of these are preferred
  • KC Accountancy Services is a small, independent and very busy accountancy practice, based in Llanfyllin. We currently service over 100 clients, with the majority of them being sole traders
  • the business provides a full range of accounting, business and tax advisory services to a wide variety of small to medium sized businesses across Mid Wales, Shropshire and further afield
  • the main focus of the role will be the preparation and submission of VAT Returns and taking the bookkeeping through to trial balance level
  • able to prepare and submit VAT returns without supervision, answer VAT queries from clients and communicate with HMRC

Requirements

  • accounting: 2 years
  • bookkeeping: 3 years
