- part-time
Responsibility
- loading the van with the days deliveries under the direction of the relevant shop managers
- delivery of orders to all customers in a timely, curteous and professional manner
- on occasion you may be asked to deliver early AM or early evening. The hours will be spread across 6 days
- opportunities are available for overtime on occasion
- deliveries will include funeral orders, gift bouquets and event flowers. During the Christmas season this will also include christmas trees. You may on occasion be out in the van with one of the florists
- once deliveries are complete you will be required to lend a 'helping hand' at either of the 2 shops. This could involve assisting the other team members with moving new stock deliveries around, general tidying up etc
Requirements
- clean Driving License
- ability to drive a transit van as minimum
- ability to work well under pressure and take direction
- flower and plant knowledge a bonus but not essential
- experience of previous customer service roles
