Responsibility

  • keep up with technological advances to optimize the tools and processes used by the team
  • help continuously improve development methodologies, processes and standards
  • develop and maintain software using Dev Ops and Agile values and principles
  • write clean code across the full stack for multiple business solutions
  • refactor code to keep it optimized and keep tests green
  • share learnings with all and coach and mentor less experienced members in the team
  • help to define and deliver the technical strategy across one or more Development teams, this will involve making decisions to ensure that technology choices, software architecture and tools align with both the client strategy and UK government service standards

Requirements

  • experience with NServiceBus and/or Azure Service Bus
  • a senior technical role using up to date Microsoft technologies
  • excellent knowledge of C# and the .Net framework
  • practical understanding of Microservices, Event Driven Architecture and Domain Driven Design
  • a collaborative hybrid team who makes time for learning and personal development
  • extensive experience of Web technologies and in particular ASP.NET MVC
  • experience of Sitecore/Umbraco or similar Content Management Systems
  • a cloud first environment where you can learn and improve your Azure skills
