management accountant
Education
- bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
Responsibility
- producing UK annual statutory accounts and assisting with European accounts
- working closely with auditors across Europe
- have experience with USGAAP, IFRS 16 and IFRS 15
- production of monthly accounts to TB level, including variances analysis and commentaries
- managing month end including accruals, prepayments, monthly recharges and GL journals
- intercompany reconciliations - multi currency, country
- supporting the annual budgeting process for the area
- the Management Accountant EMEA position has arisen to help support the EMEA Accounting Team as the business grows and relaunches markets across the EMEA region
Requirements
- qualified / Finalist with 2-4 years' experience
- excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
- ability to hit the ground running in a startup environment
- ERP knowledge
- ability to present and communicate to individuals across the organization, particularly non-finance
- use own initiative and proactively manage own workload
- flexible working approach especially around month / year end
- A friendly, confident and assertive team-player, with the ability to work in a fast team-based environment
