Working hours
- full-time | Apprenticeship
Responsibility
- as a software tester, you are involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment
- you’ll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by our development team is fit for purpose
- software testing involves the analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues
- your role is integral to the creation of software systems and technical products we use at JustAccounts
- ultimately software testers are employed to find bugs and issues within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users
- you might work on bespoke or individual projects
- meeting with system users to understand the scope of projects
- you will need to be, or become, familiar with programming and using coding languages
Requirements
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- skills & Personal Qualities Required
- verbal and written communication skills with a proven attention to detail
- interpersonal and customer service skills
- proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritisation
- solid understanding of the software development life cycle
- ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers
- curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to anaylse and solve problems
