architectural technologist
Working hours
- full-time | Part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- produce effective working drawing packages inline with current company standards
- produce accurate drawings from measured surveys
- carry out Passivhaus assessments to determine project suitability along with the Architect
- produce building regulation complaint drawings and take forward to tender and then to construction
- carry out designer risk assessments , for the CDM coordinator
- co-ordinate with other consultants/colleagues
- working on projects at all stages from inception to completion across the residential & small commercial sectors from RIBA stage 0 to 7
- programme work schedules where necessary and carry out inspections at various stages on-site and report back
Requirements
- relevant architectural/ construction focussed qualification
- good knowledge of construction is essential with excellent communication skills
- A number of years’ post qualification experience working in a UK based practice would be ideal but not essential as guidance will be provided
- good working knowledge of Vectorworks is beneficial, but not essential as long as you have experience in AutoCAD or other similar drawing systems as this can translate over
- experience in Passivhaus and PHPP modelling software would be ideal but not essential as guidance will be provided as this is a specialist area of architecture
