Responsibility

  • for our long term commercial clients the candidate will be responsible for developing and growing the ongoing business
  • working on a range of clients in both residential and commercial sectors. The role requires someone who can interpret the client brief and put forward designs that will meet the requirements, whilst also being practical in terms of usage and budget
  • project managing through to completion, the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, ability to ensure budgets and timescales are kept to, develop a good working relationship with the client and trades alike
  • the candidate must be able to make decisions and manage expectations in order to complete the projects to the high standards we work to

Requirements

  • degree or equivalent in Interior Design
  • A minimum of 3 years experience designing and managing projects
  • proficient in vectorworks and able to draw up detailed floor plans and elevations
  • experienced in pulling together design boards and preparing finishes schedules
  • experienced in presenting to clients
  • experience in briefing contractors and managing work schedules
  • ability to brief bespoke cabinetry makers and upholsterers
  • extensive experience of managing projects through to completion and handover
