have or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
experience in supervising and leading a team of Carers

Responsibility
to assist the Care Home Manager in the smooth running of the care home
to provide care for the residents and deliver the highest standards of care
to lead, supervise and motivate a team of Carers
the role of a Team Leader is to assist the nurse, deputy Manger and Care Home Manager in ensuring the highest level of care is provided to residents in the care home
to ensure that all residents have a care plan and that care is delivered in accordance with the care plan
the Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and assisting a team of Carers and ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with the care plan and the homes policies and procedures
to ensure that all residents receive their medication on time and in accordance with the care plan
to identify and report any changes in the health and well-being of the residents to the Home Manager/Deputy Manager/ Staff nurse
