Responsibility
- perform regular groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- maintain flower beds, gardens, and other landscaped areas by planting, watering, and weeding
- operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks
- irrigate landscaped areas to ensure optimal growth and health of plants
- build and maintain structures such as fences, pathways, or garden beds as required
- dig holes for planting or other landscaping needs while ensuring minimal disruption to existing flora
- conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair
- collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently
Requirements
- proficiency in using power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers
- strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs on equipment when necessary - preferred
- experience of using ride-on mowers
- experience with hand tools for gardening and landscaping tasks
- knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, including landscape maintenance practices
- ability to irrigate effectively and maintain healthy garden environments
- capability to build structures that enhance outdoor spaces while ensuring durability
- physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
