Requirements
- counter balance Forklift or Reach Truck licence
- full current UK driving licence
- several year’s demonstrable experience in a warehouse environment
- counterbalance Forklift or Reach Truck licence
- full UK Driving licence
- confident use of IT for business purposes, including MS Office products
- commercial awareness, understanding costs, waste, profit etc
- good understanding of stock control practices
Responsibility
- offload/load transport vehicles/containers with forklift or manually as required into our multi-tier racking system
- booking goods into stock, checking and weighing them and taking samples and labelling
- receive goods into stock following sample, check weighing, quality assessment, batch/weight labelling processes. Put away under strict location control
- monitoring stock storage conditions – keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, tidying shelves, sweeping and vacuuming dust and debris
- optimising space utilisation with a focus on easy locating and working with stock
- stocktaking
- health and safety in the warehouse including checks and maintaining standards
- liaising with the sales and purchasing office on stock levels and movement requirements
