supports Aftersales/Service Manager in guiding/directing/motivating the team to ensure they examine vehicles and diagnoses non-routine defects, either in the workshop or during a road test, using a knowledge of the vehicles and technologies concerned
invoices customer on completion of work. Reviews invoice with the customer, providing a detailed explanation where necessary
works with the team to ensure the standards and the examination vehicles and reports of defects are in line with Department of Environment and Vehicle Safety Report standards
supports & works with workshop team to ensure they carries out each job within the budgeted time as set out on job card
contacts customer to update on workshop/bodyshop progress, agreeing any additional spend and managing customer expectations re costs and timings
completes all relevant administration promptly and accurately

uses a good understanding of the customer’s needs to guide them towards the product/service that will best meet their needs
quotes prices and availability of stocks and accessories to customers
encourages the sale of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions
