Responsibility

  • manage the overall operations of the sweet shop, including staff management, inventory, and budget management
  • hire, train, and develop a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff members who will provide exceptional customer service
  • develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • manage the point-of-sale system, including cash handling and reconciliation
  • maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff
  • ensure that the shop is always fully stocked with a variety of high-quality sweet products, and that the products are displayed attractively and in an organized manner

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a sweet shop or confectionery business
  • proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability
  • strong leadership and people management skills
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • knowledge of inventory management and budgeting
  • ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
