- this is an exciting time to join the company as it expands and opens up a transition home specifically for young people who have reached 16 years old
- contracted hours per month = 173 per month
- the aim is to give young people the certainty and stability they need whilst reducing fears and anxieties about where they will be living
- the Deputy role will be a Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm role once the transition home opens, therefore you can expect to do approximately 6 months on a rolling shift pattern to include sleeps as detailed below, before changing to Monday -Friday
- the hourly pay for this role is £13-£14 per hour depending on your experience. In addition to your hourly rate, you will be paid £50 for every sleep-in you complete
- are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager who is looking for a new opportunity to work with young people in Stoke on Trent?
Requirements
- you'll need 12-months experience within an Ofsted Rated Children's home and examples of 'leading' the team on shift
- be competent at updating young people's plans and house paperwork and risk assessments
- achieved 'Level 3 Children's Residential/Workforce - or equivalent
- be confident at liaising with multi-disciplinary teams
- full UK Drivers License
- residential Childcare: 1 year
