Responsibility
- you will be required to operate an FLT Counterbalance around a busy warehouse
- J&J are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated warehouse operative to join a well established business based in Welshpool, Powys on a full time and permanent basis
- you will also be required to handle loading and unloading tasks so a level of physical fitness is needed in order to execute this role efficiently
- there may be days where you will be needed to assist within a parcel warehouse setting or aid in cleaning and tidying the warehouse area
- there is great career progression with this role, the ideal candidate will have a desire to progress to supervisor level asap. As the end goal for this role is to develop the successful candidate into a supervisor
- if however you have your eyes set on a different career path there is a fully funded HGV Academy on site that will happily upskill you to a HGV Driver
- there may be days when it’s slightly quieter where you will be needed to assist within a parcel warehouse setting or aid in cleaning and tidying the warehouse area
Requirements
- warehousing experience
- FLT Counterbalance
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good organisational and time management skills
- flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary
- flexibility to cover other shifts in the event holiday cover is needed
- physically fit
- good attention to detail
