Responsibility
- carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements and identify areas that we can provide quotations on
- work from bills of quantities or simply tender drawings i.e. design & build basis
- promote further tender invitations
- chasing up clients for information / queries
- attend tender review meetings on a daily basis with company directors to agree prices prior to issuing quotations
- ensuring quotations are submitted professionally and accurately reflect and demonstrate what has been included. We use “EVOLUTION” software specifically designed for the uPVC Industry
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- ability to extract information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted
- ability to maintain & develop professional relationships with current clients as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development
- experience using Business Micro’s software is preferred
- experience in the construction industry is a necessity in order to understand construction tender drawings
- ability to print off drawings using plotters to allow accurate “take-offs” to be carried out
- ability to think outside the box & value engineer schemes
- attention to Detail
- knowledge of current building regulations, particularly Part F and Part N and Part Q , would be advantageous
