credit controller
Responsibility
- monitor and manage the credit control process for assigned accounts
- prepare and send out invoices, credit notes, statements, and reminders to clients
- liaise with clients regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment plans when necessary
- maintain accurate records of all communications with clients concerning payments
- collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure smooth financial operations
- utilise Pegasus Opera 3 to track payments and manage accounts, full in house training will be provided
- generate reports on outstanding debts and present findings to management
- assist in resolving any discrepancies or disputes related to invoices or payments
Requirements
- proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
- strong understanding of accounts payable processes
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to work independently while also being a team player
- strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
- accounting: 1 year
- bookkeeping: 1 year
