Working hours

Responsibility

  • unfortunately Jet Set are unable to offer any employment sponsorship at this time
  • oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the unit in a supported living setting
  • ensure that staff are supported, managed and the need of the clients meets quality standards
  • complete shopping as part of role, and ensure a healthy menu is completed for the clients
  • maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure proper sanitation practices
  • handle family communications, staff communications and any complaints that could arise
  • supervise and train new support staff, including assigning positions, monitoring performance, completing rotas and working closely with management for other needed tasks

Requirements

  • previous experience in supporting role
  • strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • knowledge of health and social care best practices
  • ability to work with challenging behaviour and ensure safety of staff and clients in their environment
  • effective communication skills to interact with staff and clients
  • senior/team leading: 1 year
  • adult social care: 3 years
