Responsibility
- the successful applicant MUST be fully qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience and able to provide references
- carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification
- whilst relevant qualifications and training certificates will help in your application, your previous experience will be much more valuable
- complete relevant service documentation in line with manufacture, warranty and dealer requirements
- you will be working on all makes and models and be able to diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard
- accurately complete job cards and reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed
- the successful applicant must be able to work alone without supervision
- replace / work on car engines, gearboxes and all other types of repairs
Requirements
- good and solid experience of working within a previous automotive mechanical role
- NVQ, City and Guilds or other relevant qualification
- qualified to carry out MOT tests
- you need to be someone who is clean and tidy (e.g
- full UK Driving license
- good knowledge of car parts
- experience with Diagnostic equipment
- someone who can use their own initiative, who has good organisation skills and can stick to time scales are a must with this role, as the workshop gets busy
