Requirements
- fully experienced in the use of conventional metrology equipment and CNC coordinate measuring machines
- thorough understanding of engineering drawings including geometrical tolerancing
- experience of working within an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment and detailed knowledge of calibration systems would be advantageous, particularly instrument calibration experience
- the ideal candidate will have specific experience in a Precision Machining environment, will have a good appreciation of mechanical engineering principles and have a fine eye for detail
- we are looking for a team player who in conjunction with our skilled machinists will produce products to the most exacting standards for our blue-chip customer base
- hours Mon – Thurs 08:00 – 13:00 13:30 – 17:00 Fri 08:00 – 13:00
Responsibility
- preparation of components for dispatch to customers. This will involve manual finishing so that components are presented in the right condition to be incorporated in to customers’ product
