Responsibility
- to follow Company Policies on stock control of equipment, reagents and standards and ensure stock records are kept up to date
- to ensure adequate stocks of glassware, reagents, consumables, etc. in laboratories
- to assist with the general cleaning of laboratory sinks and benches; tidy and clean prep. room shelves and laboratory areas
- to ensure laboratories and prep. rooms are locked, lights and equipment are switched off when not in use
- to set up equipment; collect, check and return equipment to stores after use
- to proactively ensure that workrooms, equipment and apparatus are tidy, clean and well maintained
- to maintain laboratory equipment including calibration and performance checks, setting up apparatus and other resources, and after discussion with the Quality team or Management carrying out the repair and replacement as necessary
- to provide equipment and materials to support analysis, including assembling apparatus, making up solutions and disposing of waste materials
