Responsibility
- to carry out preventive maintenance on all processes
- our client, a family-owned, fast-growing International Dairy Business, is looking for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to work at their site based in Ceredigion, West Wales
- reporting all relevant data, providing accurate information of work done, time on the job, and parts used
- the successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance of process equipment comprising of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, instrumentation, control systems, CIP and steam systems
- to lock off any process before commencing any invasive work that may create a health & safety hazard
- to work safely and report all H&S incidences if and when they occur
- to use the engineering library to gain knowledge of equipment/processes
- to carry out reactive maintenance when a breakdown of a process or any plant occurs, to endeavour to carry out the repair with a methodical approach to fault finding and carry out all works on a ‘Right First Time’ basis
Requirements
- ONC Engineering or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical discipline
- time served apprenticeship in an industrial environment
